Almost everything appears to be different when you are growing up as a child. The colors of the rainbow seem to be brighter, the trees seem to grow higher and today seem to be more exciting than the day before. Although my childhood is filled with everlasting memories, the places I used to visit, the activities that I took part in and the foods that I enjoyed eating. One snack food I loved as a child was Pork Rinds.
Friendsgiving is fastly approaching, and you’re panicking. What do you bring that will make everyone want to take a second helping? You used your go-to potluck dish at the last get together and now you’re stuck.
The pork rinds I ate as a child was the perfect salty, crunchy snack. It was the snack that seamless accompanied anything cold to drink; or perhaps you were watching some kind of athletic event on television; or just hanging out with family and friends enjoying each other’s company. The crunchy treat was hardly a representation of something spectacular; but if did become an American stable; similar to that of baseball and apple pie.
Along with everything that has happened in recent years the pork rind as we once knew it has had a complete make-over. The make-over however is nothing short of remarkable. Introducing and just in time for Friendsgiving Southern Recipe Small Batch Pork Rinds. They come in eight delicious and bold flavors; Korean Kimchi BBQ, Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper, Spicy Dill, Pineapple Ancho Chile, Thai Style Curry, Cilantro Lime, Blackberry Habanero, and Smoked Sea Salt. The flavors are bold and appetizing. Enough to satisfy even the pickiest taste buds. The crunch is outrageous and somewhat marvelous.
The rinds are high in fat and protein and have zero carbs which make them great for Keto snacking with only 70 calories per serving. Although all the flavors are great the Pineapple Ancho Chile is my favorite. The best and only way to guarantee you live a healthy life is the be certain that the foods and snacks you consume contain the least number of unhealthy components. Pork rinds are perfect for that because they never have more than four or five main ingredients. Compared to the unhealthy granola bar which contains well over 15 major ingredients; such as sugar, vegetable oils, seed oils, syrup, and honey.
